Happy New Year!

SeattleWineTours.com would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and a prosperous 2011!

SeattleWineTours.com just got back from Christmas in Montana! We enjoyed a 6 day vacation in the Bozeman, Montana area. It was great to visit family and friends, and ski at Bridger Bowl and at Big Sky. We also spent a day cross country skiing at Lone Mountain Ranch in Big Sky, Mt. In a word: Spectacular! Montana is a special place and its slogan, “The Last Best Place” is absolutely true.

Our last night in Bozeman we enjoyed a casual, good meal at Starky’s Restaurant. Starky’s is located on the corner of Mendenhall and Tracy in downtown Bozeman. It was a Wednesday night and we were lucky to catch Tom Murphy and his band as they were cranking out some excellent Bluegrass music. Tom is a great mandolin player; one of the best that I’ve ever heard. It was a real treat!

The next month or so is great times to visit the wineries of Woodinville or with advance notice some of the spectacular boutique wineries of Seattle. Or, if you are so inclined the wineries of Walla Walla, Yakima, Tri-Cities, Chelan and Leavenworth are also just a mountain pass or two away. Things slow down in January and February, so it’s a perfect time to visit and spend time getting to know the owners and winery managers in Woodinville and Central and Eastern Washington. SeattleWineTours.com can always arrange an exceptional wine tour, but during the next few months as the pace slows, the experience, it my opinion it at it’s very best!

Please mention that you’ve read the blog, and we will arrange a 6 hour tour for the price of 5 hours!

Mention this statement for a discount:

“I love cooking with wine…sometimes I even put it in the food”!

Happy New Year!
